This Privacy Policy describes how Keyword Research Tool handles information when used for keyword research and Google Ads keyword metrics. It must be read together with the actual data practices of the deployed application.
When the operator authorizes the tool through Google OAuth, the tool may access Google Ads API resources permitted by the configured OAuth scopes and API permissions. The tool should request only the permissions necessary for its functionality.
Google data is used to retrieve requested keyword research metrics, generate reports, and troubleshoot the tool. It must not be used for purposes inconsistent with the user's authorization or Google's applicable API policies.
Data storage depends on the actual implementation. The operator may save research reports locally. Any OAuth credentials, API responses, logs, or reports saved by the tool must be protected and retained only as needed. This section must be updated to describe any server-side storage, if applicable.
Google user data is not sold. Data may be processed through Google APIs as needed to provide the requested functionality, disclosed to parties at the user's direction, or disclosed when required by law. Any additional service providers with access to data must be described accurately.
Reasonable safeguards should be used to protect credentials, tokens, reports, and account information. OAuth tokens and client secrets must not be published in website files or public repositories.
Users can revoke Google account access through their Google Account third-party connections settings. Locally stored reports, credentials, and logs can be deleted by the person controlling those files. If server-side storage is introduced, the policy must explain how users can request deletion of server-side data.
This policy will be updated when the application's functionality or data practices materially change.
